I can never forget this! Many years ago I wrote and told you I was planning to get a divorce. You wrote back counseling me and explaining the problem I was going through. Since then my husband and I have been reunited and another child has been added to our already three. The whole family is saved now and we worship together. We love the Lord very much.
I asked you to pray for my son's success in the 11 plus exam. He passed his exam and up to now people are wondering how he made it since he was a very slow learner. They don't know that with God anything can happen.
One day I was sitting all alone and I decided to turn on the radio. As soon as I tuned in, the CHRIST IS THE ANSWER broadcast was on. I sat down, listened carefully to the words that were preached and they really touched me, and I began to cry. At the end of the broadcast I took Jesus into my life.
I was informed by my doctor that I had diabetes. I wrote and asked you for prayer. The next time I went to the doctor and I was asked to have a blood test, they discovered that I did not have diabetes any more. The doctor told me to stop the tablets.
I wrote asking for prayer for my family and my severe problem with alcohol. Praise God, I do not even think about alcohol now never mind drink it!
I am writing to thank you for praying for me because my mother and my husband came to know the Lord and my brother who was on drugs is no longer on them. Christ is really the answer to life's problems.
Thank you for praying for my husband who has been coming home in a drunken condition all hours of the morning. My husband is now home between 6:00 and 7:00pm at the very latest, and has started to help in the house.

My boyfriend left me. I could not believe that this would ever happen to me because he always told me that he would never leave me. I was deeply hurt and I thought it was the end of the world for me, but after listening to your programme, I immediately accepted Jesus into my heart and I know that there is hope for me.

Sometime ago I asked you to pray for a nephew of mine who was an alcoholic, a smoker, and treated his wife terribly. Well, thank God, he has made a change - he has started to go back to Church.
I have been a regular listener to your broadcast and God has changed my life. I used to be a drunkard and loved to do all sorts of bad things, but I thank God for saving my life from going to hell.
My mom was very ill and as you prayed she reached out in faith and was healed.

My best friend became my enemy when she began an affair with my husband.

One Friday night whilst at Prayer Meeting, I accidentally placed my hand next to my throat and discovered a big lump which was very painful to the touch. I visited the Miracle service on the Thursday following, and in four days the lump had disappeared. Jesus certainly touched and healed me.
Thank you for praying for my 3 children. One accepted Christ as Saviour some months ago and the other 2 were saved during one of your crusades.

I have a daughter who used to suffer from asthma. My mother took her to church and got her prayed for. Before she could only go to school for six weeks
out of a term but thanks to the Lord, from that day she was healed.
I was diagnosed as having Lupus. This tissue disease involves every organ in the body as well as joint pains. I suffered for years before I was diagnosed correctly. One day I was so ill, I could hardly stand, my elder sister put me in a car and drove me to the healing service.
As everyone prayed I felt a great heat flow through my entire body. The Holy Spirit came upon me and I spoke in
tongues. Six months later tests were done and nothing was found. The following year the tests were done again and nothing was found. God has done a wonderful thing for me.
During these years, the people you allowed to share from the Cathedral Pulpit have been men and women of integrity preaching sound doctrine that has enabled us to grow in grace and the knowledge of Jesus Christ. I thank you for this. I have watched the ministry expand during the years and I am so grateful that God has allowed me to be a part of it. God bless you Pastor.
My husband, two daughters and I attended The People's Cathedral whilst on our visit from the USA. The message really ministered to me and I was challenged to memorize one verse of Scripture a week... Up to four months after this challenge I learnt various Scriptures every week. By the end of that period I had learnt twenty new Scripture verses.
...My husband was challenged by some thing else in the message - Daily Bible reading. Since then he has been up at 4 am., reading for one hour before starting the day. It has made a tremendous difference in his personal life, as well as his professional life.
I want to thank you for last Sunday's message on encouragement. I recognize now that it is my responsibility to thank and encourage those whom God has used to be a blessing to me.

I had a growth in my right nostril and went to the doctor…. After many visits to the doctor, I was told that I would have to have an operation. The operation was to be on a Thursday, but I decided to attend the Miracle Service before going to the hospital. Thank God I did not have to have the operation; the growth disappeared.
I attended the wonderful Miracle Service and asked the Lord to meet a financial need of $1,500. I am so happy to report that in less than six (6) hours that need was met. Praise God!

Pastor Holmes: Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! Many years ago when I was a young Christian you said from the pulpit that Christians should read more. Well, I had hated reading, but since that day I have accomplished more reading in my Christian life than I ever did before.
As a result of that I felt compelled by the Holy Spirit to further my studies since I did not do very well at school. I did, I went on to do several CXCs which allowed me to enter and complete studies at the BBC. After that I have had some pretty good jobs and have continued to study and to read. Today, I have been able to provide a nice home for my Christian family and it was all because I started to read. Many thanks Pastor for following God’s will and leading us in God’s will through the Holy Spirit.

When I first started doing the Bible Course in St. Mark's Gospel I was living a backslidden life. But on completion of this course I have given my life back to Jesus.
The Bible course has meant a lot to me, I have received the gift of salvation and I am eager to tell others about the love of Jesus Christ.
The Bible Correspondence Course has been a blessing to me. As I have gone through the lessons, I learnt more about working for the Lord. I am now encouraged to witness more for the Lord.
The Bible Correspondence Course, "The Way to a Happy Life", has helped me a great deal. I have started reading my Bible regularly especially the Psalms and I am encouraged to engage in Bible Study. I also plan to become actively involved
in ministry.
The study of this Bible Course has helped me to realize that an accumulation of wealth and possessions would never make me a happy man. There is no lasting happiness unless Christ is the head of my life. This Bible Course has taught me how to study the Bible and the importance of daily reading the Bible.
This Bible Course has taught me the importance of prayer and I am determined to live close to God and become actively involved in serving Him once again.
The study of this Bible course has made me more aware of the closeness of the return of Christ, and because of that, I must live a life of preparedness.
The best decision I have ever made in my life was to accept Jesus as my personal Lord and Saviour. I am determined not to return to my former way of life and with each passing day I am becoming stronger in faith. Daily I am faced with many challenges, but I overcome by the power of the Holy Spirit.
