The Community Services of the People’s Cathedral is more than offering hand-outs to the poor. The community service ministry is a combination of different aspects of benevolence. There is the Dorcas Shop where donated apparel is made available to the needy. Groceries are parceled monthly for those who cannot afford a monthly grocery bill.

Visitations to children’s homes, those in hospital and the shut-in are also a part of this ministry. Every year Senior Pastor, Holmes Williams and his wife Pastor Rosie Williams host the Wisdom Saints Christmas Luncheon. The senior citizens of the congregation, neighbouring communities and even friends and family members of those in the congregation who are seniors, are especially invited to be a part of this national event.

Over 700 seniors are catered to and waited upon by younger members of the congregation including the pastoral staff and friends of the ministry. The Minister of Social Transformation in the government of Barbados has also been specially invited to this annual event . It is one that is eagerly anticipated each year. Our special guests receive a beautifully wrapped gift.
