The People’s Cathedral School and Pre-school was established in 1987 with a roll of 27 students. It was born out of a burden the Lord had given Rev. Dr. Holmes Williams, Senior Pastor of The People’s Cathedral, of the need for a Christian school. Today the school has a roll of 475 students.
The aim of the People’s Cathedral Primary School is to create a well-mannered Christian environment in which learning takes place. The principal and his team are convinced that every child can improve and succeed. Therefore, the administration and staff of the school demonstrate a loving concern for each student.

We believe the Holy Scriptures to be the divinely in-breathed, infallible, inerrant authoritative Word of God. We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in the Persons of the Holy Trinity. We further believe in the virgin birth of the Lord Jesus Christ, His qualified deity; His sinless humanity and perfect life, the external all-sufficiency of his atoning death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the Father’s right hand, and His personal coming again at His second advent.
We believe the justification is a judicial act of God on the believer’s behalf solely on the merits of Christ, and that regeneration by the Power of the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal salvation. We believe in holy living baptism with Holy Spirit with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues and the Lord’s supernatural healing of the human body. We believe in Christ’s Lordship of the Church, the observance of the ordinances of Christian baptism by immersion for believers and the Lord’s Supper. We believe in heaven as the eternal inheritance of the saints and in hell (the lake of fire) the eternal doom of the unregenerate.
Enrollment at The People’s Cathedral currently stands at 438, this total is expected to increase when the new school is completed.
